JSC “Putnu fabrika Ķekava“, the continuator of the traditions of which is JSC “Ķekava Foods”, was founded in 1967. The idea for the company was conceived in 1964 when the members of the collective farm “Ķekava” came together and decided to allocate land for the construction of a poultry meat production plant.
