The Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Energy Agency” (REA), an independently operating municipal institution, was established by a decision of the Riga City Council in 2007, as part of the European Union’s international program “Intelligent Energy – Europe.”

The video tells the story of the implementation of the CCC project in Riga and the introduction of circular economy principles in the urban environment. It highlights, in particular, community involvement, the process of landscaping the garden at the Bolderāja branch library, and the importance of the Circular Economy Forum in sustainable urban development.
