The Latvian Red Cross Society (LSK) is one of the largest membership and volunteer organisations in Latvia, providing assistance to people in need since its foundation on 20 November 1918. Its activities cover the whole territory of Latvia – in each region there is an LSK committee, thus ensuring that the assistance is as close as possible to the people’s homes.
