lottery organization for goods and services

what is a lottery?

It is a marketing tool that helps to highlight a product or service in a specific market. Although at first glance it may seem that the lottery’s sole purpose is to increase sales, this is not the case. In addition, there may be various other, equally important objectives:

  • attract new customers
  • build a contact database
  • strengthen relationships with existing customers
  • to bring a new product or service to the market
  • update a product already on the market
  • obtaining additional marketing space
  • help you get used to the new look of the product

The lottery is like a little adventure, usually with a small cost, but it motivates you to take action. Only those who never participate don’t win.

key facts about the organisation of the lottery

To run smoothly, the lottery must be planned well in advance, be transparent and be technically and legally well organised. While this is not a complicated process and is something that everyone can do, there are many details that must be taken into account, such as:

  • 2 months’ notice is required to apply to the Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspectorate for the organisation of a lottery (expedited processing is also possible for a small fee)
  • the lottery licence fee is 25% of the total value of all prizes
  • advertising material must include the lottery authorisation number
  • the winning persons are determined publicly
  • it is forbidden to organize lotteries, where you have to gamble, purchase alcoholic and energy drinks, medicines, tobacco products
